2:20 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Michael Carson, 32, of Saxonburg was southbound on Sarver Road when it left the road and struck a utility pole. No injuries were reported.2:15 p.m. Thursday — NAPCO reported the theft of $75 from a cash box in the purchasing manager's office at its North Pike Road building in Sarver.
4:57 a.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Derrick Uniatowski, 19, of Slippery Rock was on Branchton Road in Cherry Township when it left the road and struck a tree.9:40 a.m. Monday — A vehicle driven by Robert G. Brewer, 48, of Slippery Rock was traveling on Winfield Road in Winfield Township when it went off the road and rolled down an embankment. Brewer was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. He was cited for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed, not securing loads in vehicles and accidents involving overturned vehicles.10 p.m. Thursday — An SUV driven by Sean Roth, 17, of Butler was westbound on Old Route 422 near Franklin Township when it went off the road and struck a telephone pole before stopping in the west lane. The impact broke the pole off. The road was closed while the downed pole and wires were removed. Roth was wearing a seat belt and was not injured.6:45 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Corey Young, 18, of Butler was on Route 38 in Allegheny Township when it struck a deer. Neither Young or his passenger, Travis Clouse, 18, of Butler, were injured.6:42 a.m. Oct. 20 — A van driven by Casie Hedrick, 30, of Rimersburg and a car driven by James Seltzer, 43, of New Castle collided on Route 68 in Connoquenessing Township. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Hedrick was not injured while Seltzer had a minor injury. Hedrick was cited for a traffic violation.11:40 a.m. Tuesday — A car driven by James Osterritter of Evans City was eastbound on Shannon Road in Connoquenessing Township when it slid off the wet road, hit a utility pole and a tree. The car's passenger, Constance Irwin of Evans City, had moderate injuries and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment. Both Osterritter and Irwin were wearing seat belts.12:45 a.m. Friday — A silver Chevrolet Cavalier driven by an unknown person struck a legally parked Mustang on Route 268 in Petrolia. The driver of the Cavalier then fled, traveling south on Route 268. The owner of the Mustang was not listed in the report.11 p.m. Friday — An SUV driven by Adam Karch, 19, of Butler was southbound on Hinberger Road in Summit Township when it left the road and went into a ditch. Karch was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and underage drinking.2:47 a.m. Saturday — Donald Ifft, 58, of Butler was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 38 in Summit Township.12:23 a.m. Thursday — Christopher Otto, 20, of Butler was cited for underage drinking in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven store on Hansen Avenue in Butler.6:33 a.m. Friday — Gary Steighner Jr., 21, of Rimersburg was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after police found him unresponsive in his vehicle, which was stopped in the northbound lane of Route 268 in Fairview Township.
5:30 a.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by James Leslie, 51, of Sarver struck a deer on Route 8066, the Route 28 southbound off-ramp, in Harrison Township, Allegheny County. He was wearing a seat belt but had a minor injury from the deployment of the airbag.
