Shirley K. Minto Welsh, 69, of Middlesex Township died Sunday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Jan. 3, 1936, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Metric Minto.

Mrs. Welsh was the owner of Welsh's Lawn & Garden Supply on Route 8 in Middlesex Township. She also was an animal lover.

She was the beloved wife for 49 years of R. Craig Welsh; sister of John Minto of Oregon; the aunt of Rodger Welsh of Penn Township, Gary Welsh of Jefferson Township, John Johnston and Terri Francis, both of Adams Township, and Bill and John Minto, both of Butler; and sister-in-law of Sylvia Minto of Butler and Shirley Johnston of Mars.

A brother, Bill Minto, and a nephew, Donald Minto, preceded her in death.
