11:51 a.m. Thursday — John H. Walker, 27, of Butler was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after police responded to a disturbance call at Eckerd Drug on South Main Street. Police found a glass marijuana pipe in Walker's pants pocket.
4:05 p.m. Wednesday — A vehicle driven by Joseph Gibson, 50, of Parker and a vehicle driven by Stephanie Yohe, 16, of Hilliards collided on Route 58 just west of Route 38 in Eau Claire Borough. Gibson, his passenger, Homer Gibson, 80, of Parker, Yohe and her passenger, Brandi Gold, 16, of Parker, all were wearing seat belts and were not injured.5:25 a.m. Thursday — Benjamin L. Campbell, 19, of Slippery Rock was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following two accidents. In the first wreck, his truck hit a utility pole and guide wire on West Park Road in Muddy Creek Township. After leaving the scene, Campbell's vehicle crashed again on West Liberty Road in Worth Township. Campbell was not wearing a seat belt and had a minor injury.1:05 a.m. Thursday — Hoi Thanh Duong, 32, of Gloversville, N.Y., was arrested for driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of New Castle and Eberhart roads in Butler Township. Duong was placed in Butler County Prison in lieu of $2,500 bond.Thursday — Rask Cycle Shop in Forward Township reported the theft of an unspecified amount of money from the pop machine at its Evans City Road location between Wednesday and Thursday. Anyone with information about the incident should call police at 724-284-8100.This week — Kyle Cain, 24, and Lisa Navolio, 21, both of Slippery Rock, were charged with the corruption of minors and providing alcohol to minors following an Aug. 20 incident at the Slippery Rock Campground in Worth Township.Oct. 13 — Richard Smith, 64, of New Brighton reported the theft of Huskavarna chainsaw from a storage shed at his Ashland Township cabin on Denny Weaver Road.
9:53 a.m. Oct. 23 — Vincent G. Burgess, 43, of 207 South Division St., Zelienople, reported someone overnight smashed to passenger side window of his vehicle while it was parked out front of his residence.1:23 a.m. Oct. 22 — Melissa Kleiner, no age available, of 424 Center St., Zelienople, reported her vehicle was broken into and her pursue taken while it was parked in front of her residence.12:37 a.m. Oct. 16 — Caroline Moyer, no age available, of 742 Spring St., Harmony, reported her mailbox and planter at the end of her driveway was damaged by a vehicle.5:53 a.m. Oct. 12 — Beverly Huffman, 41, of 216 Patterson St., Evans City, reported her 1994 Ford Explorer was taken while she was at work as a caregiver for a resident at Maple Court apartments. The value of the vehicle is listed as $4,000.
Friday — Crystal L. Klein, 30, of Hermitage was cited for bad checks. Charges stem from an incident in which Klein issued a bad check for $9.98 to the Medicine Shoppe, 220 W. Main St., Aug. 16.2:30 p.m. Friday — William P. Saunders, 38, of Clintonville was arrested for driving under the influence and a traffic violation on North Broad Street.
