Louis and Jean Wesoloski of Chicora celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner and reception in August at Penn Glade Lion's Park. They also renewed their vows on Oct. 1 at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora.

The former Jean Denny married Wesoloski on Oct. 1, 1955, at Mary, Queen of Heaven Roman Catholic Church in Cicero, Ill.

They have six children, Wendy Olsen of Butler; Darcy Anderson of Chicora; Mark Wesoloski of Hillsborough, N.C.; Tracy Kulak of Cranberry Township; Laurie Babcock of Albuquerque, N.M.; and Tara Bruecken of Pittsburgh.

They also have 15 grandchildren.

Wesoloski is retired from the Westinghouse Research and Development Center.

Mrs. Wesoloski is a homemaker.

The couple belongs to Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church.
