Herman R. Fulton Sr.

Herman R. Fulton Sr., 72, of 225 Howard St. died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at UPMC Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh, after an illness.

Born in Allegheny County, June 29, 1933, he was the son of Herman R. and Myrtle McClain Fulton.

He retired in 1974 as a crane operator at Pullman Standard after 12½ years.

Mr. Fulton was a member of the North Street Christian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Beverly Schoentag Fulton, to whom he was married for 28 years; two sons, Herman R. Jr. and Raymond R. Fulton, both of Butler; two daughters, Shirley Doctor of Butler and Mrs. James (Laura) Adley of Herman; a sister, Martha Snodgrass of California; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a stepson.

<B>FULTON</B> - Friends of Herman R. Fulton Sr., who died Sunday, Sept. 11, 2005, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 429 Center Ave. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Huber, his church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park, Butler Township.
