The Grove City College defense surrendered 152 rushing yards and three touchdowns to Thiel running back and Seneca Valley graduate Steve Minton, as the Tomcats gained a 30-0 shutout in Presidents' Athletic Conference football Saturday in Greenville.

The Wolverines (2-4, 1-2) were outgained on offense 440-146.

The Slippery Rock University women's volleyball team defeated West Chester 3-1 Friday.The victory, which came by scores of 30-15, 30-21, 28-30 and 30-22, saw Rock freshman Anastasia Urbanik tally 21 kills, four blocks and seven digs.Sara Kirsch added 58 assists, 20 digs and six kills in the win.
