BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

The Senior Adult Ministry is planning a fall foliage train trip Oct. 15 on the Oil Creek and Titusville Railroad. Cost is $11 for participants age 60 and older or $12 for those younger than 60. The Caravan Kids Club and their families will sponsor an all-church dinner at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Rehearsal for the Christmas musical will follow at 6:30 p.m.
A Box Work Day will be held Saturday at Mount Chestnut Nazarene Center. Crisis Care Kits, Pal-Paks and donated clothing will be packed in banana boxes and delivered to the district center.

At 3 p.m. Sunday the congregation of Christian Praise & Worship Church, Route 68, Bradys Bend, will host an Old-Fashioned Back Porch Hymn Sing. The Rev. Wes Berkebile and the Rev. James Berkebile, a father-son team, will be the musicians and lead the singing. Participants should take a lawn chair. In the event of inclement weather, the hymn sing will be moved to the sanctuary. A free will offering will be taken and light refreshments will be served following the hymn sing.

Beginning Sunday, GraceWay Community Church will hold services at 9:30 a.m. at Center Township Elementary School, Mercer Road, Center Township. A fellowship time will begin at 9 a.m. and childcare will be available during the service.

On Saturday, the youth group of Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, will visit the Tree of Life Synagogue in the morning and go to the Pitt football game in the afternoon.
