Lewis, Platt

Butler residents Kimberly Lewis and Christopher Platt were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. July 2 at Christ Community United Methodist Church in Butler. The Rev. Oden Warman officiated. A reception followed at the Butler Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Betty Lewis of Irwin. Parents of the bridegroom are Thomas and Janet Platt of Butler.

The matron of honor was Dawn Lewis of Harrison City. Bridesmaids included Nicia Platt of Kaneohe, Hawaii; Christy Cilia of Pittsburgh; Becky Kurowski of Ashburn, Va.; and Amber Schmeider of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Taylor Starcher and Hannah Starcher, both of Butler, were the flower girls.

Performing the duties of best man was Aaron Muscatello of Pittsburgh. Ushers included Stephen Platt of Kaneohe; Jeffrey Platt of Mystic, Conn.; Douglas Lewis of Harrison City; Joshua Slear and Timothy Liparulo, both of Butler; and Justin Dammel of Cincinnati. The ring bearers were Josh Lewis and Tanner Lewis, both of Harrison City.

The bride is a 1995 graduate of Penn Trafford High School and a 2005 graduate of Point Park University. She works for Keystone Ridge Designs in Butler.

The groom graduated in 1995 from Butler High School and in 1999 from Ohio University. He works for II-VI in Saxonburg.

Following a honeymoon trip to Aruba, the couple is making their home in Butler.
