11:21 p.m. Friday - Robert King Jr., 45, of New Bethlehem, Clarion County, was arrested for driving under the influence on Shore Street.2:30 p.m. Friday - A pickup truck driven by Linus Green, 53, of Butler Township struck a motorcycle parked on Cliff Street. The crash pushed the motorcycle, owned by Hill Kingsley of Butler, into a parked sport utility vehicle, owned by Brian and Jenni Lambermont of Summit Township.10:25 a.m. Sept. 22 - A pickup truck driven by Glen Hoobler, 49, of Sheakleyville, Mercer County, and a car driven by Jay Shaffer, 55, of Butler Township collided on West Jefferson Street and Wagner Avenue. Shaffer, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.
6 p.m. Saturday - Brian Logue, 34, of Chicora was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman during a domestic dispute at a Trimbur Road home in Donegal Township. Logue, who is accused of hitting Lisa Ann Belles, 32, of Chicora, is charged with simple assault and harassment.10:25 a.m. Sunday - Cars driven by Nathan Markle, 18, of Concord Township and Jeanne Monaghan, 49, of Summit Township collided on Route 356 and Simon Drive in Jefferson Township.Markle, who got out of his wrecked car, was walking on the road when he was struck by another car driven by Joseph Rachwal Jr., no age given, of Toronto, Ohio. Markle was taken with unknown injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.3:25 p.m. Saturday - Janet Heidkamp, 19, of Cranberry Township suffered minor injuries when she crashed the motorcycle she was driving at Route 228 and Brewer Road in Clinton Township. Heidkamp was wearing a helmet.5:30 a.m. Saturday - A vehicle driven by Carl Miller, 45, of Pittsburgh struck a deer on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township.2:30 a.m. Saturday - An unidentified gray, early- to mid-1980s model, full-sized Ford pickup truck struck a Dodge Ram pickup at Main Hill Road and Given Street in Petrolia, and did not stop. Nathan Miller, 22, of Karns City was driving the Dodge pickup.Anyone with information about the owner or driver of the Ford pickup is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.1:15 a.m. Saturday - Jordan Miller, 21, of Saxonburg was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Main Street in Saxonburg.9:19 p.m. Friday - Sport utility vehicles driven by Christina Bowser, 26, of Eau Claire and Rose Vaughn, 59, of Slippery Rock collided at Routes 8 and 308 in Center Township. Bowser and a 10-year-old girl riding in her vehicle suffered minor injuries; both were wearing seat belts.2:19 p.m. Friday - Cars driven by Kelly Reges, no age given, of Clearfield Township and Gerald Markle, no age given, of Butler Township collided at Routes 8 and 3005 in Butler Township.9:40 a.m. Friday - Cars driven by Herman Nelson, 41, and Tammy Lutz, 31, both of Butler, collided on Whitestown Road in Connoquenessing Township. Nelson was cited for driving on the wrong side of the road. Lutz was cited for driving with a suspended license.Friday - A small amount of money was taken between 6 and 6:30 p.m. in a burglary at the Beaus Drive home of Carl Schmitt Jr. in Muddy Creek Township.3:50 p.m. Sept. 26 - A mini school bus driven by Zoltan Novak, 71, of New Castle and a car driven by Judy Ferver, 53, of Butler collided at Route 308 and Tinker Road in Cherry Township. Ferver, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered a possible broken ankle in the crash.10:50 a.m. Sept. 18 - Cars driven by Clara Keene, 69, of Hilliards and Victor Sybert, 74, of Slippery Rock collided at Route 308 and Branchton Road in Cherry Township. Both drivers, wearing seat belts, suffered minor injuries.
2:11 a.m. Sunday - June Ruff, 43, of Templeton was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 268 in East Franklin Township, Armstrong County. Sheri Czaikowski, 24, of Templeton, a passenger in the vehicle, was arrested and placed in the county jail after police learned she was wanted on a warrant in a prostitution case in Allegheny County.Saturday - A $50 money order and prescription medication was taken between 11 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. from the Iron Furnace Road home of Cheryl Philmon at the Bradys Bend Trailer Court in Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County.3:20 p.m. Friday - A vehicle driven by Jeffrey Crissman Jr., 18, of Templeton rolled onto its roof after hitting an embankment on Route 1032 near Sloan Hill Road in Boggs Township, Armstrong County. Crissman was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
8 p.m. Sunday - A car driven by Abby Martin, 17 of Grove City crashed after traveling off West Valcourt Road in Liberty Township, Mercer County. Police said heavy fog was a factor in the crash. Martin and Jessica Porterfield, 16, of Grove City, a passenger in the car, suffered minor injuries; both were wearing seat belts.8:45 a.m. Sunday - A mini-van driven by WaleidAbukharma, no age given, of West Patterson, N.J., struck a deer on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County.Friday - A gun was taken between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. in a burglary at a Leesburg Station Road home in Springfield Township, Mercer County. Michael Christy Jr. of Volant owns the gun, which police did not describe.
