Burgard, Garing
Stephanie Burgard and Scott Garing, both of Portersville were united in marriage at 3 p.m. Aug. 13 at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church in Zelienople. The Rev. Robert Bergman officiated. A reception was held at the Villa Banquet Center.
The bride is the daughter of Larry Burgard of Portersville. Parents of the bridegroom are Scott and Debbie Garing of Evans City.
The honor attendant was Jennifer Mulneix of Portersville. Bridesmaids were Casey Trotter of Butler; Michelle Russo of Prospect; Erin Garing, Melanie Brobach and Nicole Garing, all of Evans City; and Mariah Dehart of Zelienople. The flower girls were Chloe Mulneix and Chloe Garing.
Serving as best man was Tyler Murray of Zelienople. Ushers were Andrew Dindinger and Mark Dehart, both of Zelienople; Jeremy Taylor and Kevin Burgard, both of Portersville; Ben Murray of Richmond, Va.; and Preston Brobach of Evans City. The ring bearers were Ralph Mulneix and Brandon Brobach.
The bride graduated in 2002 from Slippery Rock High School and in 2004 from Butler County Community College. She works at Pizza Hut in Zelienople.
The bridegroom graduated in 2001 from Seneca Valley High School. He works for the Cranberry EMS in Cranberry Township.
After honeymooning in Jamaica, the couple is living in Portersville.
