The Butler County Community College volleyball team finished 3-3 at the Shannon Lee McBride Memorial Tournament at Lakeland Community College in Cleveland over the weekend.

Katherine Smith made the all-tournament team with 37 kills and Autumn Burk added 27 kills for the Pioneers (20-6).

BC3 earned a 2-1 win over Southeastern, a 2-0 win over the Community College of Beaver County and a 2-0 quarterfinal win over CCBC.

But the Pioneers dropped two 2-0 decisions to Macomb (Mich.) and Clark State (Ohio) before falling in the semifinals to Macomb again 2-0.

Stephanie Lawson added 79 digs and Tawnie Osborne added 80 assists for the Pioneers.
