Bernard R. Ogorchock
Bernard R. "Barney" Ogorchock, 77, of Butler, formerly of Brookville and Clearfield, died Sunday at Newhaven Court, Center Township.
Born Jan. 15, 1928, in Brookville, he was the son of John Joseph and Elizabeth Jane Hyer Ogorchock.
He was manager of DuBrook for 33 years and retired as a heavy equipment salesman.
Mr. Ogorchock was a member of St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church in Center Township. He was an active member of the Butler Lions Club, a life member of the Elks Club and a member of the Pennsylvania Redi-mix Concrete Association.
Surviving are his wife, Margie L. Hause Ogorchock, whom he married May 21, 1949, in Brookville; a son, Mark D. Ogorchock of Mosley, Va.; three daughters, Mrs. Joe (Patricia A.) Green and Mrs. Terry (Linda S.) Thomas, both of Butler, and Mrs. George (Christine M.) Donahue of Curwensville; and two brothers, John Ogorchock of Reynoldsville and Thomas Ogorchock of Wisconsin. He also is survived by 11 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Four sisters, Helen Kalchthaler, Kay Ogorchock, Gertrude Glenn and Dorothy Corbet; a brother, Francis Ogorchock; a son, William C. Ogorchock; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Ogorchock preceded him in death.
OGORCHOCK - Visitation for Bernard R. "Barney" Ogorchock, who died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, will be private. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Brookville, with the Rev. Joseph Staszewski officiating.
