Oliver Horrigan had six goals and two steals and goalie Glenn Reepmeyer had 17 saves and one steal to lead the 19th ranked Slippery Rock University men's water polo team to a 15-7 win over Gannon Thursday.

Arseni Grokhovski added five goals and one steal for The Rock (7-3). Sean Casella added four steals and one goal.

The Rock also is ranked seventh in the Collegiate Water Polo Association Top 10 poll.

The Rock's Ashley Michaux, the reigning PSAC Athlete of the Year, won her No. 1 singles match 6-1, 6-1, then joined Kayla Blackburn to win at No. 1 doubles 8-4 as SRU rolled to a 6-3 win over Allegheny College.Blackburn, at No. 2 singles, won 6-0, 6-0 while Sarah Karagianis won at No. 5 singles 7-5, 6-3 then teamed with Kelli Parnell to win at No. 2 doubles 8-3.

Nick Bolea won the No. 1 singles match for SRU (7-6, 4-6, 10-8) and teamed with Adam Shosky to win the No. 2 doubles match (9-7) in a 7-2 loss to Allegheny Thursday.
