Kelly Hiser and Stephen Ball, both of Slippery Rock were united in marriage at 5 p.m. Aug. 19 at The Atrium in Prospect. The Rev. Aden Wertz officiated. A reception followed, also at The Atrium.

The bride is the daughter of Jon and Mary Ann Hiser of Butler. Mother of the bridegroom is Darla Ball of Uniontown.

The honor attendant was Cristiane Lima of Baltimore. Bridesmaids were Sarah Frantz of Columbia, S.C.; Emilee Gustkey of Butler; Megan Kapolka of Slippery Rock; and Krista Porter of Portersville.

Ushers were Jim Moore and Dan Graham, both of Columbia, Kenny Hiser of Butler and Mark Erickson of South Carolina.

The bride graduated in 2001 from Slippery Rock High School and in 2005 from Slippery Rock University. She works for Boscov's in Butler.

The bridegroom graduated in 1991 from Laurel Highlands High School. He works for the Pittsburgh Opera in Pittsburgh.

After a honeymoon in Hawk's Cay, Fla., the couple is making their home in Slippery Rock.
