John and Eleanor Clouse of Butler celebrated 55 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at Clifford's Restaurant in Connoquenessing.

The couple was married on Sept. 4, 1950.

They have two children, Arlene Beall of Butler and John Clouse Jr. of Chicora. They also have five grandchildren.

Clouse retired from Dumbaugh Electric after 45 years.

Mrs. Clouse is a homemaker.

The couple belongs to St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church of North Oakland. Both are avid golfers.
