Regis and Agnes Boyle of Mars celebrated 50 years of marriage with a Saturday evening Mass at St. Kilian Parish in Mars. A surprise celebration with family and friends was held at the Callery Fire Hall.

The former Agnes Jendrasak married Boyle on Sept. 10, 1955, at St. Catherine Church in Wildwood.

They have four children, Jeffrey Boyle of Saxonburg, Sharon Penrod of Mars, Janice Demme of Cranberry Township and Regis Boyle Jr. of Minneola, Fla.

They also have 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Boyle is retired from Armco Steel, Ambridge Works, where he worked as a craneman.

Mrs. Boyle is a homemaker and a former secretary at Warrendale Plating Company.

The couple belongs to St. Kilian Roman Catholic Parish.
