Tornado shut out Titans, 3-0

Doug Moran tallied two goals to lead the Butler boys soccer team to a 3-0 victory over Shaler Thursday.

Kevin McCune also scored, and Tim Duffy and Zeke O'Donnell combined for the shutout in net.

Butler (5-0) plays at Kiski Area at 4 p.m. Friday.

Knoch 4, Freeport 1 -

Eric Steighner registered two goals and D.J. Thomas and Buddy Carr had one apiece the victory for the Knights (3-0, 2-0).

Seneca Valley 3, Pine-Richland 1 -

R.J. Case, Shane Kunder and Ethan Richter scored for the Raiders in their section opener. Kevin Bittner scored for Pine-Richland.
