Sunday - Matthew Good, 21, of Johnstown, Cambria County, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on Midway Alley.Shawn Underwood, 19, of Johnstown was cited for underage drinking after he came to the police station to pick up Good and officers smelled alcohol on his breath.Sept. 2 - James Jewell, 22, of Pittsburgh was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on South Main Street.
Tuesday - Undisclosed items were stolen between 6:30 and 7 p.m. from a purse at the Morrow Field House. The value of the stolen property was not known.
12:30 p.m. Thursday - A revolver was found around the 200 block area of Freeport Road in Summit Township. The owner can claim it by calling the barracks at 724-284-8100.7:40 a.m. Thursday - A car driven by Jessica Bittner, 20, of Portersville struck a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Bittner, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with unknown injuries to UPMC Passavant Cranberry.Thursday - A yellow, 2005 Suzuki Ozark all-terrain vehicle on Cherry Road in Fairview Township was taken between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. Thursday. A white, Yamaha 80 Big Wheel at a nearby picnic shelter was also taken about the same time. Gary Ellenberger of Chicora owns the stolen property.9:30 p.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Daniel Steele, no age given, of Slippery Rock crashed into a ditch on Route 422 near Purvis Road in Connoquenessing Township. Steele, who was not wearing a seat belt, suffered moderate injuries.6:15 a.m. Aug. 30 - Melissa Ann Marie Sloan, 25, of Butler is accused of breaking into the Election House Road home of Dawn Bortz in Franklin Township. Nothing was reported taken. Police noted Sloan is a former friend and co-worker of Bortz. Sloan is charged with burglary, trespass and criminal mischief.
3:50 p.m. Thursday - A car driven by a 16-year-old boy, who police did not identify, crashed into a field along Fleming Road in Pine Township, Mercer County. The boy, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor facial injuries. He was cited for driving to fast for conditions.
3:56 p.m. Sept. 6 - Vehicles driven by Alison Nareuth, 28, of Baden, Beaver County, and Edward Demoral, 51, of Vine Grove, Ky., collided at the intersection of Whitney Drive and Evans City Road No injuries were reported. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.10:56 a.m. Sept. 6 - An employee at Highway Equipment, 22035 Perry Highway, reported several large equipment parts valued at $5,500 were removed from two mini-excavators in the business's storage lot sometime between Aug. 26-29.1:14 p.m. Aug. 29 - Joe White of Hunters Point Drive, Wexford, reported golf clubs and equipment were taken from his vehicle on Aug. 3 while it was parked in the parking lot of the Hartmann's Deep Valley Golf Course off Hartmann Road. The clubs and equipment were valued between $2,500 and $3,000.
