8:24 a.m. Saturday - A Butler couple was arrested for allegedly assaulting one another during an argument at their North Main Street apartment. David Anderson, 63, and Diane Anderson, 52, are each charged with simple assault.12:39 a.m. Aug. 28 - James Love, 58, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on North Main Street.
10:16 p.m. Saturday - Vehicles driven by Frederick Neely, 60, and Kristin Schaffner, 24, both of Butler, collided at North Duffy Road and Seneca Drive.Neely was flown by medical helicopter with serious injuries to Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. His condition was not known this morning. Schaffner was treated for a neck injury at Butler Memorial Hospital. Her condition was not known this morning.Neely was cited for driving with a suspended license. Police, meanwhile, are asking anyone who saw the crash to call the station at 724-285-9600.
11:42 a.m. Tuesday - A car driven by Steven Ramsey, 19, of West Sunbury traveled off Route 8 at Maplewood Drive in Center Township and crashed down an embankment. Police said the crash occurred when Ramsey fell asleep at the wheel. He was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation. Additionally, he was charged with illegally possessing or transporting an alcoholic beverage.Noon Monday - Patrick Shawn McCamey, 30, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Amber Perrine, 21, during a domestic dispute at their Maple Manor home in Brady Township.Police said McCamey choked Perrine as she held the couple's 1-year-old son in her arms. Perrine was treated for minor injuries at Butler Memorial Hospital. The infant was not hurt.McCamey was arraigned on charges of simple assault, harassment and endangering the welfare of children. He is in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bond.Sunday - Someone stole a dump truck from a construction site on Benbrook Road in Butler Township and drove the vehicle to Butler Mini-Storage on Unionville Road in Center Township, where it was abandoned.Police ask that anyone who saw an oversized truck being driven on Benbrook Road, West Brewster Road, McCandless Road or Unionville Road, sometime after dark Saturday or Sunday, to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.Aug. 26 - A $200 money order was taken from the Whitestown Road Extension home of Lisa Lollo in Connoquenessing Township. The money was later cashed at an undisclosed bank. Police said they have a suspect in the theft and forgery.Aug. 15 - Pamela Williams said someone between July 7 and Aug. 15 stole $4,000 in gold diamond rings from her Watters Station Road home in Forward Township.
Aug. 27 - A checkbook and $900 were taken between Aug. 25 and 27 in a burglary at the Barkeyville Road home of John Macri in Pine Township, Mercer County.
