A summer 2007 wedding is being planned by Brittany Powell of Chicora and Aaron Stephenson of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Rex and Laurie Powell of Chicora. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Tom and Gladys Stephenson of Butler.

The bride-elect graduated in 2004 from Butler Wesleyan Academy and is a student at the Oakbridge Academy of Art. She works at the Perk-Up Coffee Bar in Butler.

Her fiancé graduated in 2004 from Butler High School and is also a student at the Oakbridge Academy of Art. He works at Wal-Mart in Butler.
