Streak: Butler quarterback Nick Monteleone was one dropped pass away from completing eight consecutive throws in the second half last week.

Statistic: Butler's defense held Kiski Area to 180 yards net offense despite missing three starters - Ian Haley, Phil Scialabba and Marcus Hough - to injuries most of the game.

Strategy: The Golden Tornado hope to use last year's 16-15 loss at Hempfield as motivation this week.

Speaking: "We're not even looking at last week's win. We're looking at last year's loss to Hempfield. We let one slip away last year and we don't want to let that happen again." - Butler coach Garry Cathell
