CRANBERRY TWP - District Judge Kelley Streib recently heard these cases:

Brett Allen Sylvester, 19, of Zelienople waived his case to court. He was charged June 27 by the state police with use/possession of drug paraphernalia.

William J. Glasser, 52, of Cranberry Township waived his case to court. He was charged July 6 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol and disregard of a traffic lane.

Wayne Ruby, 49, of Harmony waived his case to court. He was charged July 26 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of combined alcohol/controlled substance, operating a vehicle without the proper inspection, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, driving an unregistered vehicle, improperly displayed license plate, driving with a suspended license, operating a vehicle without proper insurance and restrictions on alcoholic beverages.

EVANS CITY - District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard these cases:Shawn Lee Urey, 30, of Mercer waived his case to court. He was charged July 13 by the state police with driving under the influence of alcohol, disregard of traffic lane and reckless driving.Jennifer Lee Newcamp, 23, of Mars waived her case to court. She was charged July 26 by the Adams Township police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding and failure to keep right.Joseph James Semple, 25, of Evans City waived his case to court. He was charged June 13 by the Lancaster Township police with receiving stolen property, conspiracy to commit forgery and conspiracy to commit burglary.John Kelly, 24, of Butler waived his case to court. He was charged June 6 by the Adams Township police with simple assault, two counts of harassment, four counts of disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and retail theft.Anthony Francis Schindler, 21, of New Eagle, Pa., waived his case to court. He was charged July 27 by the state police with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving with a suspended license, disregard of traffic lane and operating a vehicle without a valid vehicle inspection.Joshua A. Lucarelli, 21, of Slippery Rock waived his case to court. He was charged July 26 by the state police with driving under the influence of alcohol and disregard of traffic lane.Brent Richard McLafferty, 25, of Butler waived his case to court. He was charged June 21 by the state police with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to keep right, disregard of traffic lane and careless driving.Cody James Fotta, 26, of Valencia waived his case to court. He was charged May 23 by the state police with theft by unlawful taking.Christopher Emerson Hughes, 24, of Harmony waived his two cases to court. He was charged June 8 by the Jackson Township police with criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and defiant trespass. He was also charged June 8 by the Jackson Township police with seven counts of forgery, three counts of theft by unlawful taking and three counts of receiving stolen property.

SLIPPERY ROCK - District Judge Clifford Woessner recently heard these cases:Cynthia A. Fotta, 22, of Evans City waived her case to court. Fotta was arraignedAug. 16on four counts of bad checks and two counts of theft by deception. Fotta is accused of writing checks to Prospect Corner Store from a closed checking account Aug. 12, 14 and 19.Clarence David Ledbetter, 54, of 119 Clyde Lane waived his case to court. State police in Butler charged Ledbetter Aug. 16 with driving under the influence general impairment, driving under the influence with a high rate of alcohol, no rear lights, driving an unregistered vehicle, disregard of traffic lane and careless driving. Police stopped Ledbetter along Route 8 in Brady Township July 18 after witnesses said they saw his vehicle cross the white line on the roadway.

WORTH TWP - District Judge Lawrence Silvis recently heard these cases:Jeffrey K. Seelbaugh, 47, of Grove City had his case held for court. State police in Mercer charged SeelbaughAug. 17with fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, two counts of passing when prohibited, six counts of disregard of traffic lane, two counts of duties at a stop sign, exceeding 55 miles per hour speed limit, four counts of driving without lights to avoid identification or arrest, reckless driving and signaling improperly. Charges are the result of an April. 20 incident in Pine Township in which Seelbaugh led police on a chase along routes 173 and 208 into Barkeyville.Charles Dennis Lee, 26, of Grove City waived his case to court. Grove City police charged LeeAug. 17with driving under the influence general impairment, driving under the influence with a high rate of alcohol and failure to stop at a red signal. Police stopped Lee July 18 after witnessing him drive through a steady red light.Scott Allan Pompa, 35, of 822 Stewart Ave., Grove City, had his case held for court. State police in Mercer charged PompaAug. 17with terroristic threats and harassment. Pompa is accused of repeatedly calling the cell phone of William Harris III on June 5. During one call, Pompa allegedly threatened to shoot Williams, police said.Warren Gregory Nelson, 39, of Mercer had his case held for court. Grove City police charged NelsonAug. 17with two counts of access device fraud and theft by unlawful taking. Nelson allegedly used an ex-girlfriend's Zales Outlet card to obtain cash at an automated teller machine July 4 and 6 in the amount of $144.Michael Wesley Ross, 19, of Aliquippa, Beaver County, had his case held for court. State police in Mercer charged RossAug. 17with receiving stolen property and retail theft. Charges stem from a March 29 in which rings valued at $5,497 were taken from Ultra Diamond Outlet at Prime Outlets in Springfield Township.David Earl Wardle, 51, of Grove City had his case held for court. Grove City police charged WardleAug. 17with driving under the influence general impairment, driving under the influence with highest rate of alcohol and vehicle registration suspension.Gregory Scott McCarty, 23, of Mercer pleaded guilty to use or possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness. Grove City police charged him Aug. 17 after finding him drunk in the parking lot of the Grove City McDonald's July 11.
