Fularz, McCain
Kara Fularz of Lower Burrell and Dennis McCain Jr. of North Apollo were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. July 2 at the Apollo Free Methodist Church, Apollo. The Rev. Darrell Carney officiated. A reception followed in the Grand Ballroom at Lenape Heights, Ford City.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Lynda Fularz of Lower Burrell and the granddaughter of Kenneth and Rose Marie Grossman of Saxonburg. Parents of the bridegroom are Dennis Sr. and Carol McCain of North Apollo.
The matron of honor was Kelsey Fularz of Lower Burrell. Bridesmaids were Chayla Whaley of Valencia and Danielle Krofchik of Philadelphia. The junior bridesmaid was Amy Manofsky of North Apollo. Alexia Fularz of New Kensington, was the flower girl.
Performing the duties of best man was Luke Marchitelli of Apollo. Groomsmen were the bride's brother, Bryan Fularz of Lower Burrell and Jason Shank of North Apollo. Ushers were Seth Leibowitz of Tarentum, Zane Leibowitz of Freeport and Austin Krajicek of Brandon, Fla. Timothy Sluser Jr. of Oakmont was the ring bearer.
The bride is a graduate of St. Joseph High School and Clarion University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She is a pre-kindergarten teacher with KinderCare Learning Center in Holiday Park, Plum, and works part-time in the Eagle's Nest at Giant Eagle in the New Kensington and Allegheny Township stores.
The bridegroom graduated from Apollo-Ridge High School and Westmoreland County Community College. He is a precision tool technician with Penn United Technology in Jefferson Township.
Following a honeymoon trip to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the couple is making their home in Vandergrift.
