Davis, Steele

Butler residents Jessica Davis and Richard "Bruce" Steele were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. May 21 at the North Washington United Presbyterian Church in North Washington. The Rev. Bob Mathias officiated. A reception followed at the North Washington Social Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Karen Texter of Petrolia. Parents of the bridegroom are Rick and Deb Steele of Chicora.

The bride was presented for marriage by her grandfather, Kenneth Texter of Karns City.

The maid of honor was Serina Steele of Karns City. Bridesmaids included Erin Best of Levittown and Nicole Bovard of Clintonville. The flower girls were Vanessa Steele and Isabella Steele, both of Karns City.

Performing the duties of best man was Mike Landgraf of Parker. Ushers included Dave Surrena of Chicora and Bill Kelly of Bruin.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Moniteau High School and a 2004 graduate of Clarion University. She works for KPMG in Pittsburgh.

The groom graduated in 1996 from Karns City High School. He works for United Plate Glass in Butler.

Following a honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls, the couple is making their home in Butler.
