Anthony and Mary Napoletan of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a family dinner recently at the Runway Restaurant in Penn Township.

The former Mary Predmore married Napoletan on Aug. 20, 1955, at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church in Plainfield, N.J.

They have four children, Anthony Napoletan, Steven Napoletan and Tracy Goettler, all of Butler, and Roxanne Brown of Renfrew.

They also have seven grandchildren.

Napoletan is retired from Montgomery Ward. A veteran of the Army Special Services, he served during the Korean War. He is also a musician and former piano teacher.

Mrs. Napoletan is retired from the sales department of Magnetics, a division of Spang & Co. She enjoys gardening, reading and visits to Lake Arthur.

The couple belongs to St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
