5:12 a.m. Thursday - Jeremy Osterling of Butler reported that someone broke into a car on West Cunningham Street and took a subwoofer, compact disc player and a set of keys.

Wednesday - Brian Curzi, 19, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car struck another vehicle parked on Whitestown Road. He also was cited for reckless driving and other traffic offenses.10:46 a.m. Monday - Brian Doller, 24, of Connoquenessing Township and James Crookshank, 18, of Lyndora were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop at the Butler Commons parking lot.Both men are charged with conspiracy, possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance and a small amount of marijuana.1:20 p.m. Sunday - Randall Vavro, 39, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on Whitestown and South Duffy roads. In addition to DUI, Vavro was also cited for careless driving.

Wednesday - Vandals between 8:30 and 9:10 p.m. spray-painted two cars, a garage door and numerous mailboxes at homes throughout the Sedwick Heights section of East Franklin Township, Armstrong County.Wednesday - Undisclosed property valued at $311 was taken from a travel trailer at the McCauley Campground on Ridge Road in Washington Township, Armstrong County. Ida Brandt of Center Township, Butler County owns the stolen property.

4:18 p.m. Thursday - A car driven by David Baxley, 19, of Grove City traveled off Route 173 in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County and struck a traffic sign and tree.Monday - Wendy's Restaurant on Route 208 in Grove City was cited after police were called to the sixth false alarm at the business within 12 months.
