Isaiah "Ike" and N. Arlene Stevenson of Butler celebrate 50 years of marriage today. A family dinner is planned.

The former Ninna Hoover married Stevenson on Aug. 16, 1955.

They have three children, Jack Stevenson, Kirby Stevenson and Sherri Wood, all of Butler. They also have six grandchildren.

Stevenson is retired from Ray Andres, where he worked as a mechanic. He is an avid gardener.

Mrs. Stevenson is retired from Revco Drug Store, where she worked as a manager. She currently works part time with her children at the Home Improvement Center in Butler.

The couple belongs to Faith Fellowship Alliance Church.
