Mazie Cooper of Slippery Rock will celebrate her 90th birthday with a reception following the 11 a.m. Sunday service at North Liberty Presbyterian Church, Plain Grove Road, Grove City.

The former Mazie Patterson was born Aug. 24, 1915, in Mercer County. She married Kenneth Cooper in 1932.

She has four children, Clifford Cooper of Butler; Thomas Cooper of Slippery Rock; Sandra Ferguson of Sharon; and Robert Cooper of Alta Loma, Calif. She also has 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Cooper is a homemaker and former clerk at the Knauss and Rite Aid drug stores.

She is a member of the North Liberty Women's Association and Quilters, the Slippery Rock Grange, Pomona Grange and State Grange.

A member of North Liberty Presbyterian Church, she belongs to the Willing Workers Sunday school class.
