An Aug. 27 wedding is being planned by Andrea Smolen and Jeffrey Lang, both of Cabot.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Diane Smolen of Cabot and the late James Smolen. Parents of the prospective-bridegroom are Richard and Sandra Lang of Cabot.

The bride elect is a 2000 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2005 graduate of Indiana (Pa.) University.

Her fiancé is a 1999 graduate of Knoch High School and attended Butler County Community College. He works at Interstate Pipe and Supply.
