BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE
Music for the 10:45 a.m. Sunday service at Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, will be provided by Dee Bowland and the Rev. Calhoon.

The Pittsburgh District REACH (Reaching Every Available Community Household) Conference will be held Saturday at the Mt. Chestnut Nazarene Center, 177 North Road. Registration begins at 9 a.m., and the event ends at 3:30 p.m.
The guest speaker will be David Graves, the General Sunday School Ministries Director for the International Church of the Nazarene from Kansas City, Mo. The cost is $10 a person ($8 a person for groups of 5 or more) and includes registration, handouts, notebooks, refreshments, and lunch. Call 724-287-5867 for more information.
CHRIST COMMUNITY U.M.
His Productions, the church drama group of Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will meet at 7:30 p.m. today in Oz Hall for an organizational and planning meeting for the upcoming year's events. Members interested in acting, direction, lighting, costumes or scenery design are invited.
Peg Loomis will lead the contemporary service at 8:30 a.m. Sunday. Prayer journals will be distributed and a prayer caravan to local schools will follow.
Blood pressure screenings will be held after each weekend worship service.
A "Diaper Drive" will be held beginning Sunday. Members are asked to bring packages of any size disposable diapers, baby Iotions, shampoo, wipes or other baby care items. Donations will assist Catholic Charities of Butler County.
Ticket reservations are being accepted for the Pirates vs. Reds baseball game on Aug. 26. A tailgate party is being organized. If interested, contact Rob Deemer.
The Sunday school program is seeking volunteers to share teaching activities, be room helpers or on-call workers for the upcoming year's children and youth programs.

CHRIST'S OUTREACH
The Jim and Houtef Ishler family, missionaries to Tunisia, will be introduced during the weekend services. A Power Point presentation about their mission will be held during Sunday school.
Don Robinson will provide music for the Sunday service.
The Tom Walker Family will perform from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lawrence County Fair.
COVENANT PRESBY
The Rev. William Jamieson, retired pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Evans City and a counselor at the Pittsburgh Pastoral Institute, will be the guest preacher at the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St.
Those going on the day trip to the Chautauqua Institution will leave the church parking lot at 7 a.m. Sunday.
FIRST BAPTIST
Members and friends of the Berean Sunday school class of First Baptist church, 221 W. New Castle St., will meet for breakfast 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Old Country Buffet Restaurant, 268 Moraine Pointe Plaza.
Kingdom Seekers Sunday school class members and their families will participate in a swim social at 3 p.m. Saturday at the home of Mike and Marsha Goehring.
First Baptist Christian School will host a get-acquainted night and yearbook pickup from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Baptist Youth Center. Faculty, students and families, including those interested in enrolling, are invited.

The United Methodist Church in Western Pennsylvania is seeking thoughts and feelings about the United Methodist Church - its mission, ministries, and future. "Listening Post" sessions will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the church.
On Aug. 17, a Peach Festival will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Epworth Center.
FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN
A healing service will be held at noon Sunday at First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St.
GLADE RUN U.P.
The Youth of Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, will lead both weekend services. They will speak about the recent mission trips and the work they did while there.
The mission team will go to the East Liberty Soup Kitchen on Saturday. They will leave the church at 8:30 a.m. Volunteers are welcome.
Wild, Wacky Wednesday will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday for youth in grades 1 through 5.
The Food Bank and Clothing Place will be closed through Aug. 25.
The Preschool Place will hold open house from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 24 and from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 25. The first day of class is Aug. 29. Call 724-898-2602 for more information.
GRACE @ CALVARY LUTHERAN
The Faith Shapers and older youth group of Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., will meet at the Moraine State Park Bike Trail at 11 a.m. Saturday for a bike ride, games and picnic. Participants should meet at 11 a.m. and take their bikes and helmets and drinks or snacks to share. The ride will end at 4 p.m.
Project Work Day will be from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Social Room. Participants should take a bag lunch.
A percussion instructor will meet with Acclamation of Grace at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the church sanctuary. Acclamation of Grace has plenty of percussion instruments for the Sunday morning services, but more players are needed. Adults and youth interested in joining this musical group should attend.
GRACEWAY COMMUNITY
A family Bible study is now being planned for members of GraceWay Community Church, Butler Days Inn, Heritage Room. The first meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 27. A location will be announced at the weekend service.
The youth group will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Eracers.

Elder Jim Ihlenfeld will deliver the message at the 6 p.m. Saturday service at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St.
Donations of additional canned goods and food are needed by Covenant Cupboard. Donations should be placed in the food barrels at the church. Monetary donations will also be accepted.

The women of Muddy Creek United Presbyterian Church, 341 Muddy Creek Drive, will meet for a Women's Prayer Breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Panera Bread.

The family and youth teams that served at Tapestries of Life Ministries in Guadalupe, Mexico, will present a report on their work during the Sunday service at New Life Christian Ministries, Knoch High School auditorium, 345 Knoch Road, Saxonburg. The youth team will also share during the children's time.
The latest class of covenanting disciples will be recognized during Sunday worship service.
