Jerry Schiebel
Jerry Schiebel, 52, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., formerly of Butler, died unexpectedly Tuesday at his home.
Born Sept. 23, 1952, in Butler, he was the son of Margaret Wolfe Schiebel and the late Bernard Schiebel.
Mr. Schiebel had lived in Florida since 1984, and he had worked as the manager of a floral delivery service. He served four years in the U. S. Air Force and had also worked for the U.S. government in Saudi Arabia for seven years.
In addition to his mother, who lives at Sunnyview Nursing Home, he is survived by his wife Kelly Schiebel of Raleigh, N.C.; a daughter Hayley Schiebel; four brothers, Arthur "Buz" and James Schiebel, both of Butler, Clarence "Sonny" Schiebel of Chicora, and Ronald Schiebel of Texas; and four sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Pearl) Osche of Herman, Mrs. Carol "Sis" Stepp and Mrs. Sandy Boldstridge, both of Butler, and Mrs. David (Bonnie) Winters of Carlisle.
Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
A sister preceded him in death on July 8, 2004.
SCHIEBEL - A memorial service for family and friends of Jerry Schiebel, who died Tuesday, July 5, 2005, was scheduled for Saturday in Fort Lauderdale. As per Mr. Schiebel's request, his ashes were spread over the Florida Keys.
