Conrad and Marjorie Blum of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a family dinner later this month at the Rose Haven Bed and Breakfast. They will also celebrate with a fall trip to Ormond Beach, Fla.

The former Marjorie Kuhn married Blum on Aug. 20, 1955, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have five children, Barry Blum of Chicora and Christopher Blum, Darren Blum, Constance Minor and Joel Blum, all of Butler.

They also have 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Blum is retired from the Visiting Nurses Association. He also worked for Pullman Standard for 25 years. He is a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and enjoys camping and lawn care.

Mrs. Blum is the owner of Margie Blum's Nimble Thimble. She enjoys cooking, watercolors and traveling.

The couple belongs to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. They enjoy bowling.
