Leah Beverly Kaufman

Leah Beverly Kaufman, 62, of Old Route 422 died Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 24, 1943, in Rochester, she was a daughter of Earl W. Kaufman and the late Ellen Lorraine Heitzer Kaufman.

She was a graduate of Freedom High School and was a plant secretary at Herr-Voss in Callery for more than 20 years.

Surviving is a son, Paul Edward Guber Jr., of Zelienople; a daughter, Mrs. Russell (Lori M.) Collins of Southport, N.C.; her father of Butler; three brothers, Lawrence Kaufman of Beaver and William and John Kaufman, both of Freedom; and three sisters, Mrs. Edward (Cathy) Spade and Mrs. Linda Rachuba, both of Rochester, and Joni Piser of Edgewater, Fla. Also surviving are two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

KAUFMAN - Friends of Leah Beverly Kaufman, who died Tuesday, July 5, 2005, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Stephen Morse, pastor of Unionville United Methodist Church of Rochester, officiating.
