6:58 p.m. Friday - Anthony Rue, 26, of Pittsburgh was charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended driver's license following a traffic stop on Wisr Way. The vehicle was towed and Rue was released.
11 p.m. Thursday - Jeannette Lee Fleeger, 27, of Butler was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after her vehicle struck a guard rail while traveling south on Bonniebrook Road in Summit Township.12:25 a.m. Friday - Mason Menell, 34, of Butler was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a marijuana pipe following a domestic dispute at 214 Willow Run Drive in Center Township.Thursday - Eisler Landscapes and Nurseries reported the theft of an EZ pass from its New Castle Road office in Prospect as well as a toolbox with tools and a chainsaw from a parked truck that occurred between 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 a.m. Thursday.
Wednesday - Carolyn Piper, 40, who lives in Sunnyside Village in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County, reported the poisoning of her three cats between Tuesday and Wednesday. The cats had to be destroyed. Police are investigating.Thursday - Willows on Route 68 in Karns City reported the theft of five buckets of range golf balls worth $66 between Wednesday and Thursday. Anyone with information about the theft should call Kittanning State Police at 724-543-2011.
Monday - Robert Shook, 50, of Rimersburg reported the theft of his Cub Cadet lawn tractor from his cabin on Callensburg Road in Licking Township, Clarion County.
2:42 p.m. July 26 - Karel Tyler, 17, of Bittersweet Court, Cranberry Township, was traveling north on Ridge Road just past the intersection with Tollgate School Road, when she lost control of her vehicle on the wet roadway and struck a fence, light pole and mailbox near the residence at 477 Ridge Road. No injuries were reported.3 p.m. July 25 - Thomas Parks of 133 Maple Glen Drive reported his work truck parked in his driveway was broken into and the burglars got away with an I-Paq Personal Data Assistant and car holder valued at $530 and golf gloves and socks valued at $30.10:02 a.m. July 25 - Heather Eichennaur, 17, of Kline Road, Zelienople, was traveling south on Route 19 near the intersection with Gudekunst Road when her vehicle hydroplaned on the wet roadway, went into a spin and collided with a vehicle driven by Ralph Lisella, 91, Maple Glen Drive, Harmony. Lisella complained of neck pain and was taken to Allegheny General Hospital.8:25 a.m. July 23 - Phillip Samotus of 289 Evans Road reported someone broke into his residence overnight and stole an XBox gaming system and accessories valued at $310 and about $330 in cash.8:30 a.m. July 23 - William and Wendy Sybert of 173 Maple Glen Drive reported that both of their vehicles had been broken into by breaking the vehicle's windows while they were parked in the driveway. Among the items taken were credit cards, identification and a purse valued at $150.9:45 a.m. July 23 - Craig Gehm of 305 Wise Road reported someone broke into his vehicle overnight, smashing the passenger's side window and stole credit cards from the truck as it was parked in his driveway.10:20 a.m. July 23 - Ronald Cepek of 163 Maple Glen Drive reported that someone broke into his vehicle while it was parked in his driveway overnight and took a handgun, several magazines, ammunition and a small amount of cash from the vehicle. The handgun was valued at $813.
July 13 - A vehicle belonging to Lindsay Ballatine, 20, of Gasper Road was keyed along Columbia Avenue.July 14 - A semi-tractor pulling an orange and white box trailer allegedly struck the mirror of a Ford F-250 truck parked on South Broad Street and failed to stop. Damage to the truck, belonging to Tomas Lipnichan, is estimated at $270.6:30 p.m. July 18 - An Oldsmobile sedan driving by a Grove City 17-year-old female and a GMC truck driven by Ricky Reed of Grove City collided on West Main Street in front of Grove City Memorial Park. The driver of the Oldsmobile and a passenger from the truck were transported to United Community Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Oldsmobile was cited for careless driving.11:40 a.m. July 20 - An older model, multi-colored pickup truck driven by an elderly white male allegedly backed into a parked vehicle parked in the BiLo parking lot. Damage to the 1994 Buick Century owned by Vivian Montgomery is estimated at more than $2,000. The truck left the scene.July 20 - Patricia A. Tolliver, 37, of Mercer was charged with theft of services. Police say she failed to pay for a room at the Penn Grove Hotel where she stayed at the end of April.July 26 - Police charged Warren G. Nelson, 38, of Liberty Street with access device fraud. Charges stem from an incident where he allegedly used a credit card to obtain funds from an ATM.July 29 - Two folding camping chairs and several car trophy plaques were reported taken from the vehicle of Richard Dailey of Ivan Drive.July 30 - A set of golf clubs with the bag and cart, a CB radio and about $300 was reported taken from the vehicle of Oscar L. Paden while it was parked behind 1460 Carrie Way.July 31 - A leather saddle bag, a woman's leather motorcycle jacket, two pairs of spandex riding gloves, a black cargo net and two pairs of safety glasses were reported taken from a motorcycle belonging to Laurie Schultheis while it was parked behind 1460 Carrie Way.July 31 - An apartment in the 600 block of South Center Street was vandalized when a food item was spread around the apartment and the toilet was clogged. Police are investigating.July 31 - Justin Holly, 20, of Slippery Rock was arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop.July 31 - An orange 20-inch BMX Gary Fisher bike was reported stolen from the 600 block of South Center Street. The bike belonged to Tristan Stewart of South Center Street.Aug. 2 - Three gazing balls and their stands were reported taken from Baer's Country Corner on West Main Street. Two gazing balls were blue and the third was silver.
