A Jan. 28 wedding in Pittsburgh is being planned by Jill Cooper and Dr. Andrew Matta, both of New Castle.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Gene and Debbie Cooper of Portersville. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Dr. Shoukry and Madeline Matta of New Castle.

The bride-elect is a 1997 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2001 graduate of Allegheny College. She works as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Eli Lilly.

Her fiancé is a 1996 graduate of Neshannock High School, a 2000 graduate of Allegheny College and a 2004 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Dental School. He works as a dentist in New Castle.
