Patty L. Jordan, 50, of East Brady died Wednesday at Clarview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Sligo.

Born April 11, 1955, in Bradys Bend, she was the daughter of the late Walter G. and Laura J. Ferguson Jordan.

She was a 1973 graduate of East Brady High School and was a former East Brady councilwoman.

She had been a seamstress at the Big River Sewing Factory in Kittanning. She also had been manager of the East Brady Uni-Mart and then was district supervisor. She also was a waitress, cook and bartender at the St. Cloud Hotel and the All-Stars Restaurant, both in East Brady, and she worked at the Kittanning Wal-Mart.

She was a lifetime member of the East Brady Volunteer Fire Department and a social member of the American Legion Post 488 and the SOI Lodge 1484, both of Bradys Bend, and a member of the East Brady Riverfest Committee, where she chaired the parade committee for years.

She enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles and cooking.

Surviving are a son, Sean M. Jordan and his wife, Lori, of Bradys Bend; four sisters, Georgianne McClaine and her husband, Thomas, of New Bethlehem, Linda Boyle of Knox, Vickie Culbertson and her husband, Richard, of Rimersburg and Barbara Hile of Chicora; and two brothers, David Jordan and his wife, Louise, of Bradys Bend and Robert Jordan and his wife, Jackie, of Fairmont City, Clarion County.

Five sisters and two brothers had preceded her in death.

JORDAN - Friends of Patty L. Jordan, who died Wednesday, June 29, 2005, will received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at CHARLES B. BUECHELE FUNERAL HOME, 105 Fourth St., East Brady. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Rev. William Kuba, pastor of St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church of East Brady, officiating.
