Carlo and Joyce Morando of Meridian celebrate 40 years of marriage today.

The former Joyce Gordon married Morando on Aug. 2, 1965, in Butler.

They have four sons, Carlo Morando of Austintown, Ohio; Timothy Morando of Kittanning; and Todd Morando and David Morando, both of Butler.

They also have six grandchildren.

Morando is employed at AK Steel. He enjoys hunting and fishing with his family.

Mrs. Morando is a homemaker. She enjoys playing cards and painting ceramics.

The couple belongs to St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian.
