An Oct. 15 wedding is being planned by Ambuer Smith and Joshua Hinchberger, both of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Donovan Smith of Shreveport, La., and Rondi Morder of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Paul and Diane Hinchberger of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Butler High School and a 2004 graduate of Butler County Community College. She works at US Investigative Services in Grove City.

Her fiancé is a 1998 graduate of Butler High School and was a member of the Army from 2000 to 2004, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom. He works for UPS in Butler.
