Beers, Weckerly

Kittanning residents Donna Beers and George Weckerly were united in marriage at 3 p.m. May 21 at the First Presbyterian Church of Ford City. Lay pastor Herb Reefer and the Rev. Jonathan Speck officiated. A reception followed at the West Kittanning Fire Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Verna Hileman of Reynoldsville and the late Clarence Hileman. Parents of the bridegroom are Ralph and Mary Alice Weckerly of Kittanning.

The bride was presented for marriage by her brother, Gary Hileman. Jessica Beere and Kala Hileman were the scripture readers.

The maid of honor was Kristine Grafton of Catonsville, Md. Participating in the gathering of the bouquet were Carla Hadden, Darla McKee and Crystal Weckerly, all of Kittanning; Deb Fraser of Ford City; Lisa Hutchinson of Butler; Leslie Boyle of Fenelton; Cheri Gall of Cranberry

Township

; and Diane Bufalini of Aliquippa. The flower girl was Melina Bufalini of Aliquippa.

Performing the duties of best man was Tim Hadden of Kittanning. Ushers included James Rosenberger of Winchester, Va.; Gary Hileman of Reynoldsville; and Todd Pace and Mike Lasher, both of Atlanta. The ring bearer was Nicholas Weckerly of Kittanning.

The bride is a 1983 graduate of Ford City High School and a 1988 graduate of Clarion University. She works at AK Steel in Butler.

The groom graduated in 1989 from Lenape Vocational-Technical School. He works at Metplas in Natrona Heights.

Following a honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is making their home in Kittanning.
