DeVan and Ruth Walker of Evans City will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family luncheon at the Water Hole Restaurant in Harmony following a service at Old Union Presbyterian Church in Mars.

The former Ruth Strutt married Walker on July 31, 1945, at the home of the bride's mother in Zelienople.

They have four children, Lynn Meyers of Zelienople; Van Walker of Valencia; and Larry Walker and Bruce Walker, both of Evans City.

They also have 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Walker is retired from Rexnord of Danville, Ky., formerly Matthews Conveyer of Ellwood City.

The couple belongs to Old Union Presbyterian Church.
