John and Arleen Karman of Evans City will celebrate 40 years of marriage with a family dinner.

The former Arleen Cupps married Karman on July 31, 1965, at St. Mathias Roman Catholic Church in Evans City.

They have four children, David Karman of Freedom, Chris Ziegler of Herman, Todd Karman of Butler and Jennifer Vincent of Fort Hood, Texas.

They also have three grandchildren.

Karman works as a mechanic.

Mrs. Karman works as a nanny.

The couple belongs to St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church.
