A summer 2008 wedding is being planned by Lindsay Funkhouser of Cabot and Jared Steighner of Butler.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of David Funkhouser of Apopka, Fla., and Shirley Funkhouser of Cabot. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Clair Jr. and Donna Steighner of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Knoch High School. She works at Auto Zone in Butler.

Her fiancé is a 1998 graduate of Butler High School. He works for Steighner Crane Service in Butler.
