Elaine J. Kraus Moretti McKee, 68, of Hampstead, N.C., formerly of Cherry Valley area of Clinton Township, died Monday at her home.

Born Oct 10, 1936, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late George and Isabel Sheetz Kraus.

She lived in Clinton Township most of her life and was a 1954 graduate of Winfield High.

Mrs. McKee moved to North Carolina 11 years ago and was a cashier at the Ace Hardware Store in Hampstead for seven years. She enjoyed reading.

Surviving are her husband of 18 years, Harold D. McKee; a daughter Lori A. (William) White-Harvey of Philadelphia; three sons, Cole J. (Amy) Moretti of West Deer Township, Allegheny County, and Michael (Diana) Moretti and Ronald (Shelly) Moretti, both of Clinton Township; two step-daughters, Robin (Arnold) Parker of Florida and Rebecca Toogood of Butler; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A sister Glenda (Ronald) Caldwell of Tucson, Ariz., also survives.

Her first husband, Ronald Moretti; and a grandson, Ronald Moretti, preceded her in death.

McKEE - Friends of Elaine J. Kraus Moretti McKee, who died Mondaywill be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton. A parting prayer service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home; and a Christian funeral Mass will follow at St. Victor Roman Catholic Church, Bairdford.
