Janet Thompson of Hooker will celebrate her 80th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. July 31 at the North Washington Social Hall, Route 38, North Washington.

The former Janet Tebay was born Aug. 10, 1925, in Worth Township. She married Willis Thompson on Sept. 9, 1950. He is deceased.

She has two sons, Lewis Morris and Robert Morris, both of Helena, Mont. She also has seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Thompson is retired from Butler Memorial Hospital, where she worked as a nurse's assistant. She is a member of Concord Presbyterian Church in Hooker.

Mrs. Thompson requests no gifts.
