Wallace "Bud" Sr. and Alice Emery of Petrolia will celebrate 50 years of marriage Friday.

The former Alice Whitemore married Emery on July 22, 1955, at the home of the bride's parents.

They have two children, Wallace Emery Jr. and Debora Easley, both of Bruin. They also have six grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Emery is retired from Witco Chemical in Petrolia.

Mrs. Emery is a homemaker.
