William L. Paulsen
William L. Paulsen, 78, of Saxonburg died Wednesday at his home.
Born Jan. 6, 1927, in West Winfield, he was the son of A. Credo and Elizabeth Bauer Paulsen.
He retired as a machinist at Gulf Research in Harmarville after 35 years.
Mr. Paulsen was a member of the Bethel Bible Baptist Church, the Alle-Kiski Barbershop Chorus and the Marienville Rod & Gun Club. He was a former member of the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and singing.
Surviving are his wife, Sallie Drescher Paulsen, whom he married Aug. 30, 1973; three sons, Eric Paulsen of Saxonburg, Neal Paulsen of Renfrew and Van Paulsen of Marienville; a daughter, Mrs. Victor (Toni) Sasse of Cabot; two stepsons, Mike and Bill Lazaroff, both of Saxonburg; three brothers, Laverne and Eugene Paulsen, both of Saxonburg, and Larry Paulsen of Butler; and two sisters, Mrs. Albert (Carol) Vettori of Saxonburg and Mrs. Raymond (Bea) Gallagher of Butler. Eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother; a brother, Royce Paulsen; and a sister, Harriet Lassinger.
<B>PAULSEN</B> - There will be no visitation. A memorial service for William L. Paulsen, who died Wednesday, June 15, 2005, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg, with the Rev. Raymond Lesseski officiating.Memorial donations may be made to the Saxonburg Ambulance.
