2 p.m. Sunday - A car driven by Joyce Bonovitz, 56, of Russellton, Allegheny County, and a pickup truck driven by Gerald Wells, 59, of Cheswick, Allegheny County, collided at Route 8 and Maharg Road in Penn Township.Bonovitz, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken with unknown injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital. Dale Wells, 86, of Tarentum, Allegheny County, a passenger in the pickup, was taken with unknown injuries to Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. He had been wearing a seat belt.2:33 a.m. Friday - Clarence Lebetter, 54, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 8 in Brady Township.Tuesday - A 16-year-old girl, whom police did not identify, was arrested for allegedly threatening to stab her mother with a kitchen knife at a Bullcreek Road home in Jefferson Township. The girl is charged with terroristic threats.
4:12 p.m. Saturday - A 25-year-old Worthington man, whom police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance on Route 28 in Frazer Township, Allegheny County.12:01 a.m. Thursday - A 15-year-old boy, allegedly intoxicated, was arrested in connection with the assault of Christopher Cessna, 25, outside Cessna's Main Street home in Worthington, Armstrong County.Police said the 15-year-old and three other teenagers, whom police did not identify, got into an argument with Cessna. The argument turned violent with Cessna suffering minor injuries in the altercation. He was treated for the injuries at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning.Troopers caught the 15-year-old boy while the other three suspects got away; however, police know the names of the suspects. Police noted that the 15-year-old's blood-alcohol level was 0.105 percent, above the 0.08 percent limit of intoxication for adults. He is charged with simple assault, harassment and underage drinking.
3:30 a.m. Sunday - A pickup truck driven by William Yankovich, 19, of Pittsburgh struck a tree and rolled onto its roof along Route 965 in Worth Township, Mercer County. Yankovich, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries. Police said he fled the scene after the crash.Yankovich was later found and cited for careless driving and failing to immediately notify police of an accident.Saturday - Several pieces of antique furniture were taken between Nov. 12 and Saturday in a burglary at a Richardson Road home in Pine Township, Mercer County. Mary Parker of Grove City owns the stolen property.2:18 a.m. Wednesday - Troopers seized a large stash of counterfeit merchandise in a vehicle following a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township.Among the bogus wares were purses, jerseys, shoes, jeans, shirts and jewelry containing the trade names of numerous companies. A pair of Indianapolis men face trademark counterfeiting charges in the case.5:10 p.m. June 27 - Vehicles driven by William McKinney, 42, and Montelle Sanders, 31, both of Slippery Rock, collided on Route 258 in Liberty Township, Mercer County. Both drivers and Mark Fort, 31, of Slippery Rock, a passenger in Sanders' vehicle, suffered minor injuries.
