SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

During its annual scholarship program, the Woodmen of the World in Butler presented several scholarships to college students and recent high school graduates.

Nancy Sepich, state officer on the Fraternal Service Committee, presented scholarships worth $2,000 to three students. From left are Nicole Hepler of Worthington, a student at Slippery Rock University; Joseph Miliron of Sarver, who plans to attend Ohio Technical College; and Clara Sigler of Kittanning, a student at Duquesne University.

Jerry Sepich, seated, president of the Butler Lodge, presented the Butler County American History Awards and Scholarships to five recent high school graduates totaling $7,000. From left are Joseph Marshall of Moniteau High School, Gregory Acre of Knoch High School, Andrea Corso of Slippery Rock High School and Daniel Soltis of Freeport High School.
