A Sept. 17 wedding is being planned by Nina Pinto and Mario DeGisi, both of Washington, D.C.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Frank and Barbara Pinto of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Elio and Marta DeGisi of Medford, N.J.

The bride-elect graduated in 1999 from Butler High School and in 2003 from The Catholic University of America. She works for the Homeland Security Council at the White House in Washington.

Her fiancé graduated in 1996 from St. Joseph's Prep School and in 2000 and 2003 from The Catholic University of America earning a bachelor of science degree and a master of architecture degree. He works for Lehman-Smith, McLeish Architects in Washington.
