GRADUATES

Megan Pesci graduated from Butler County Community College with an associate's degree in applied science.She also earned a license as a physical therapy assistant from the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.While at BC3, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and was named to the National Dean's List.The vice president of the Physical Therapist Assistant Class of 2005, she received the Barbara Billek-Sawhiney Outstanding Professionalism Award, the Butler Elks Club Scholarship and the Butler Rotary Club Scholarship.Pesci also completed more than 760 hours of internship experience and 100 hours of volunteer experience in various physical therapy organizations. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Associated Bodywork of Massage Professionals.The daughter of Richard and Gwen Pesci of Butler, she is currently pursuing a certificate in massage therapy.Pesci has accepted positions with Butler Memorial Hospital and UPMC Passavant.

<B>Adina Lauster</B> graduated with a bachelor of science degree in forensic accounting from Edinboro University.While at the university, she served as the financial director of the Student Government Association and chairman of the Panhellenic Council. She was also a member of the Delta Mu Delta honor society, the Omega National Honor Society, the University Senate, Business and Accounting Club and the University Advisory Board. She was also named to the dean's list.The daughter of Eric and Terri Lauster of Butler, she is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School.Lauster has accepted a position in the Office of Market Oversight and Investigation in the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's Division of Financial Audits in Washington, D.C.<B>Ryan Fleischer</B> graduated May 22 with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and management from Bucknell University.Fleischer is the son of Ronald and Sally Fleischer of Sarver and a graduate of Freeport High School.

<B>Deanna Tipton</B> graduated summa cum laude with a degree as an educational specialist in school psychology from Lehigh University.The daughter of Joel and Sharon Tipton of Butler, she graduated in 1998 from Butler High School; in 2002 from the University of Pittsburgh, earning a bachelor of science degree in psychology; and in 2004 from Lehigh University, earning a master of education degree in human development.Tipton has accepted a position as a school psychologist in the Fleetwood School District in Fleetwood.<B>Ashleigh Deemer</B> graduated with a bachelor of science degree in environmental studies from Chatham College.The daughter of Ronald and Cindy Deemer of Cranberry Township, she is a 2001 graduate of Seneca Valley High School.Deemer has accepted a position as a campus organizer with U.S. Public Interest Research Group.

<B>Amy Schnelle</B> graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in dance from Slippery Rock University.While at the university, she received the Department of Dance's Outstanding Choreographer Award and was a member of the Sigma Rho Delta dance honorary.A 2000 graduate of Slippery Rock High School, she is the daughter of Ronald and Karen Schnelle of Portersville.Schnelle will perform in the 2005 D.U.M.B.O. Dance Festival in October in Brooklyn, N.Y.<B>Darren Machak</B> graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in industrial chemistry and management from Washington and Jefferson College.While at the college, he worked as a resident assistant, community adviser and biology and chemistry lab assistant. He was also a member of the Chemistry Club, was named to the dean's list and received the President's Scholarship.The son of Dave and Ardie Machak of Butler, he plans to attend medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

<B>Brian Herman</B> graduated with a bachelor of science degree in microbiology from Allegheny College.While at the college, he was a member of the Alpha Chapter of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity, the Phi Sigma Iota International Foreign Language Honor Society and the Tri Beta Biology Honor Society.He is the recipient of the Allegheny Cornerstone Award, the Ruth Williams Knight Scholarship, the Kershner Scholar Academic Award through Delta Tau Delta and the Robert E. Bugbee Award. He was also named an Alden Scholar and to the dean's list each semester.Herman also completed a study abroad program in Germany.The son of David and Teddi Herman of Valencia, he has been selected as a second-year intern in the virology department of the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Md, where he will research the SARS virus.Herman plans to pursue a graduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

<b>Erich Myers</B> graduated from Wyoming Technical Institute with a diploma in street rod and custom fabrication with automotive technology and an associate's of occupational studies degree in automotive service management.While at the institute, he received the Outstanding Attendance Award.A 2004 graduate of Karns City High School and the Butler County Vocational Technical School, he is the son of Chris and Terri Myers of Karns City.Myers is currently employed with the Diehl Automotive Group in Butler.<B>Lauren Lombardo</B> graduated magna cum laude May 22 with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and English from Bucknell University.The 2001 Butler High School graduate is the daughter of Paul and Christine Lombardo of Butler.<B>Nathan Carlin</B> of Portersville graduated with a master of divinity degree from the Princeton Theological Seminary.He plans to pursue a doctor of philosophy degree at Rice University.
